Dyre Martin Gulbrandsen is the Managing Director of Eress. Since 2003, Gulbrandsen has worked as Energy Trading Manager at the Norwegian railway infrastructure manager Bane NOR. He is responsible for energy procurement, settlement and invoicing on the Norwegian railway network. Gulbrandsen holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management and is certified in financial energy trading. He has many years of experience in the energy and railway markets. He is 51 years old, married and has two children.

Veronika Sárik is a National Expert at the Directorate General of Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) at the European Commission, seconded from Trafikverket, the Swedish Transport Administration. In her capacity as a Policy Officer at DG MOVE, she is responsible for various Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSIs), in particular Energy, Infrastructure, Operations, Persons with Reduced Mobility and Safety in Railway tunnels.

Prior to DG MOVE, she has been seconded to the association of European Rail Infrastructure Managers (EIM) in Brussels, as a Technical Manager. She holds a Bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master´s degree in Transport and Geoinformation Technology.

He has been at CARGOUNIT for 9 years. 
24 years of experience in the railway industry, including 
15 years in locomotives fleet managing. 
He also worked at DB CARGO Polska, PCC Rail S.A., ZNLE Gliwice S.A.

Mikelborg was appointed as energy director in Bane NOR in June 2023. He has a background in physics and mathematics and comes from a position as CEO in Laugstol AS, an electrical contractor specializing in high voltage works. Previously he has had positions as CEO of several other companies in the energy sector in Norway, such as LEDE AS (distribution) and Skagerak Kraft AS (hydro power production). Mikelborg is 57 years old, married and has 4 children.

Since 2008, Raimondo Orsini is the Director of the Sustainable Development Foundation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Rome. The Foundation is funded by 140 companies, business associations, and experts and its primary objective is to collaborate with governments, private corporations, and institutions in various ways, including conducting technical studies, research, organizing events, and providing consultancy services. The areas of focus of the Foundation encompass climate action, sustainable energy, mobility, circular economy, natural capital, green cities, company reporting, and environmental strategies.

The Foundation is a stakeholder organization within the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and is a member of the UN Global Compact Italy Network, Italian member of the association “Transport and Environment”, research partner of International Energy Agency (IEA), IFEU, International Union of Railways (UIC) and other international bodies.

Raimondo has a long experience in sustainability issues: he is graduated in Environmental Law and has completed a master’s degree in Sustainable Transport Systems. From 1999 to 2005 he has been leader of Trenitalia Environment Team and from 2005 to 2008 he has been Senior Environment and Sustainability Advisor at International Union of Railways (UIC) in Paris. In Italy he has been coordinator of Sustainable Mobility working group of States General of the Green Economy, coordinator of National Shared Mobility Platform, lecturer and speaker in international conferences on climate, sustainability and regeneration.

Bart Van der Spiegel started in 1992 as engineer designing the power distribution for Belgian railways. Since 2005 focus has shifted towards the integration of an open energy market into an open railway market. He is responsible for the product Your Power delivering traction energy towards the Railway Undertakings active in Belgium. He has been active on all European workgroups regarding the measuring of energy consumption on-board of trains and on the exchange of related data. He is member of Eress Steering Board and convenor of CENELEC working group Energy Metering. He is also active in field of Driving Advisory Systems, Automatic Train Operation, automating energy functions and charging of battery trains.

Esteban Coito is a project officer in the European Unio Agency for Railways ERA and, among several tasks, he is responsible for the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSIs), for Energy subsystems and interfaces with rolling stock subsystems. He is also in charge of several vehicles authorisations.

He has also been working in the European Parliament, for the TRAN Committee, and several years in the Spanish infrastructure manager ADIF for maintenance, monitoring and commissioning of energy, infrastructure rolling stock subsystems.

Esteban has a Master in Industrial Engineering with an Specialization Annual Course in Railways Technologies.
