Marijan Ćužić was appointed a member of the HŽ Infrastruktura Management Board on  April 1, 2022.

He graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb, in 2003.

After his studies, in 2004, he started working at Agit d.o.o., where he worked at the positions of the Head of the Zagreb Goods Centre, Head of the Sales Department, Head of the International Sales Department, Head of the Strategic Development and Investments Department and Head of the Dom Express Business Unit.

In 2016, he moved to Zagreb City Holding Ltd (Zagrebački Holding d.o.o.), Čistoća Subsidiary , where he worked as an assistant to the Subsidiary manager and as a project coordinator II.

He was born in 1979 in Zagreb.

Eress Chairman and Energi Director in Bane NOR. Experienced leader/engineer with 30 years of experience in energy-related business areas. Kjetil has held positions across all parts of the value chain related to electric power—from hydrological analyses and price trend evaluations to the production of various types of energy: electricity, district heating, and gas. 

Eress Director and Head of Energy Trading at Bane NOR. He has been involved and responsible for the development, implementation and daily operation of the Eress systems from its beginning.  Dyre Martin holds a Master of Science in industrial economics and technology management and is certificated in financial energy analysis. He has long experience in working within the energy and railway market.   Since 2003 Mr. Gulbrandsen has been working as Energy Trading Manager at the Norwegian National Rail Administration. His areas of responsibility include energy procurement, settlement and billing in the Norwegian railway network.

Bart Van der Spiegel started in 1992 as engineer designing the power distribution for Belgian railways. Since 2005 focus has shifted towards the integration of an open energy market into an open railway market. He is responsible for the product Your Power delivering traction energy towards the Railway Undertakings active in Belgium. He has been active on all European workgroups regarding the measuring of energy consumption on-board of trains and on the exchange of related data. He is member of Eress Steering Board and convenor of CENELEC working group Energy Metering. He is also active in field of Driving Advisory Systems, Automatic Train Operation, automating energy functions and charging of battery trains.

Working at SBB (Swiss Federal Railway) Infrastructure Energy since 2007 as responsible for measurement data management for traction power system (Power plants, Substations).  Member of the Eress Cross Acceptance Group. He is expert on energy measurement on vehicles, technical assistance for DCS and EMS for different railway customers in Switzerland.

Member of the project team in introducing and equipping all railway vehicles with EMS and energy billing based on the measurements on vehicles at SBB.

Sara Raos, PhD, obtained her doctorate in 2023 from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, where she also completed her graduate studies in 2017. She is currently an assistant at the same institution, specializing in renewable energy, sustainable development, energy economics, electricity markets, and energy policies.

She is actively involved in teaching courses such as Economics of Power and Energy Systems, Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management, and Energy Policy Analysis and Modelling. In addition to her academic duties, she has contributed to several research and industrial projects focused on energy planning and decision-making tools. She has published multiple research papers, including high-impact journals, and has presented her work at numerous international conferences.

Bojan Franc, PhD, obtained his doctorate in 2019 from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, where he also completed his graduate studies in Computing. He is currently a Leading Researcher at the Department of Energy and Power Systems at the same institution.

He is an experienced researcher and IT expert in the domain of power systems and is actively involved in scientific and industrial projects. The main topics of his scientific research and professional work are IT systems for power system control. He has participated in the implementation of lightning locating system and wind power forecast system as utility functions in the Croatian Transmission System Operator’s national dispatch centre. Currently he participates in the development and implementation of a Solution for Electricity Billing Based on Actual Consumption with the Possibility of Regenerative Braking and Billing Based on Specific Consumption for Trains Without the Ability to Measure Their Own Consumption.

He teaches in the courses of "Geoinformation Systems" within the graduate study. He participated in various scientific, research and industry projects with technology transfer to the industry. He is a member of international vocational association IEEE and CIGRÉ.

Björn Ållebrand has been working at Trafikverket since 2009 as a Specialist in Energy Measurment on-board trains and also works as a project manager for the high resolution data project at Trafikverket.

 Paul Hodgson graduated in Physics from Imperial College London in 1999, and also holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Warwick. He started his career working in the steel industry, initially in the UK, and then in France, where he went on to become Plant Manager at Tata Steel in Hayange. He joined CFL cargo in 2012 as CEO CFL Cargo France, becoming Director of International Activities in 2019, including time as CEO of CFL cargo’s subsidies in Germany, Sweden and Denmark. Since 2023, Mr Hodgson holds the position of Senior Business Manager, where his responsibilities include International Affairs and Energy Procurement.

Christoph Häpp has been with Siemens Mobility for over 25 years, contributing his expertise across a variety of roles including Production Project Manager, Business Consultant, Project- and Sales Manager.
The Mechanical Engineer was a foundational member of the Vectron Platform Team, playing a key role in its logistical setup.
Currently, he serves as a Project Manager within the Vectron Development Center, where he continues to drive innovation and excellence in locomotive technology. In this function he also takes care for the Energy Meter.

Since 2008, Raimondo Orsini is the Director of the Sustainable Development Foundation, a non-profit organization headquartered in Rome. The Foundation is a stakeholder organization within the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and is a member of the UN Global Compact Italy Network, Italian member of the association “Transport and Environment”, research partner of International Energy Agency (IEA), IFEU, International Union of Railways (UIC) and other international bodies. Raimondo has a long experience in sustainability issues: he is graduated in Environmental Law and has completed a master’s degree in Sustainable Transport Systems.

Veronika Sárik is a National Expert at the Directorate General of Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) at the European Commission, seconded from Trafikverket, the Swedish Transport Administration. In her capacity as a Policy Officer at the unit of Rail Safety and Interoperability, she is responsible for various Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSIs), in particular Energy, Infrastructure, Operations and Persons with Reduced Mobility.

She holds a Bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master´s degree in Transport and Geoinformation Technology.

Giacomo Potenza is Economic Evaluation Officer at the EU Agency for Railways. He works in the Analysis Team where he is producing impact assessments and ex-post evaluations of Agency Recommendations and Opinions as well as working on rail-related statistics and data analysis in the field of safety and interoperability. Giacomo is also drafting research papers and studies and he is among the project manager of the on-going study AS-03 on rail energy metering to be delivered to the European Commission by 2025. Before joining the Agency in 2021, Giacomo worked as manager at the consulting firm EY producing economic studies in rail and aviation for the EU Institutions and worked also at the Italian State Railways on EU rail market regulation. Giacomo is a graduate from Bocconi University in business administration and public economics and holds an executive master in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University.

Christian is member of Eress Steering Group and the UIC90930 working group.  He works at SBB as Strategic Product Manager 

Ingvil is an experienced project manager and has led projects in both the public and private sector. She leads digital projects from concept to launch, with a strong focus on societal impact and sustainability. At Bouvet, she has contributed to projects for Statnett (the Norwegian Transmission System Operator (TSO)), Elhub (Norway’s central data hub for the electricity market) and Eress, all within the energy sector. She has also led internal initiatives on diversity and inclusion. Her background includes consulting for the past 6 years and over 20 years in digitization projects in the publishing sector. Ingvil is a trained linguist and certified English translator, she has a collaborative approach in projects she leads, and has passion for meaningful, value-driven projects, like the ones she leads in Eress.

Claudia has an extensive experience in international marketing, business development and strategy, focusing on entry strategies, negotiations and contracts. 

Asad has an extensive and solid working experience within Software Engineering & Management, holding various positions and critical roles throughout his career.

Dag holds a master's degree in Energy Physics focused on power systems and distribution. Master thesis about renewable energy and EMC design.
