“Because Bane NOR Energy oversees the entire lifecycle of the energy converter process as asset manager, there is a lot of work that goes into the development and maintenance of day-to-day operations. And, of course, the metering and billing of energy. So, it is quite a broad spectrum of activities within railway energy, and my job is to oversee all of it,” she states.
 
When asked what kind of changes Ms. Hodne would like to see going forward with Eress, she says that she would like more countries to join.
“I really hope that we can continue growing with new partners. And that we can continue to be at the forefront of this metering technology. I think that if we have a stable system in place, doing its job, we can continue to expand our reach and evolve as an organisation. This will also enable us to find new ways of metering energy and billing efficiently.”
