The new Eress organization offers all Railway Infrastructure Managers in Europe a flexible solution to exchange and settle their data energy, according to the requirements and deadlines set by the EU Commission.
"We have now a flexible solution that meets all needs. Some countries just need a solution for exchanging railway energy data across their borders. The good news is that we have it. Other countries need a more complete solution for both exchanging, accurately settling and invoicing the energy used onboard trains running through their countries. The good news here is that we have it, too. We encourage all countries that are looking for a solution to meet EUs 2020 deadlines to contact us”, informs Eress Director, Dyre Martin Gulbrandsen.
According to the Commission Regulation I 30/2014, by July 2020 each member state in the EU will be able to exchange and settle energy data, including validation and allocation of energy consumption to the correct end user.
